I Was Afraid Poem by Saniya Galeyeva

I Was Afraid

Rating: 5.0

I was afraid to lose my dear,
But I was not the dearest one.
He did forbid to interfere
With his affairs and his life.

I was afraid to let him out,
Though I was never, never in.
I used to cry and tried to shout
To make him look at me and think.

I was afraid to lose what never
Did really belong to me.
He was so cool, so calm and clever
Enough to make me stay with him.

I was afraid to be offended
And to offend, and be betrayed;
And everything that I had hated
I had to go through at the end.

And now I'm pure though I shared
His lust and sins, his bed of steel.
I did lose everything I feared
To lose. And now I'm free.

Broken heart gets fear frequently. This is amazingly presented from perception.10
