I Was Made... Poem by Susan Oxford

I Was Made...

Rating: 5.0

I wasn't made to say an alluring
hello, or to flirt and tease with
intention to infatuate and scheme.

I was made for smiles, laughter
and hugs. I was made for long
talks, long walks, holding hands
and sharing dreams.

I was made to marvel at a
new day, bask in the light of
the setting sun and gaze at the
stars in a clear night sky.

I was made for strolling
along the beach, wandering through
whispering trees, climbing high
mountains to admire the view.

I was made for adventures, country road
trips, and exploring new places near
and far.

I was made to be held, share
long soft kisses and soothing
caresses.

I was made to be in love and
in life with you.

A very nice sweet romantic verse... you seem like a normal poet! Very well done, thank you for sharing.
