You were my best friend, My companion, my pal.
We did everything together, untill recently, untill now...
I remember you being born, your beautiful brown eyes,
You were so small and delicate, with the tiniest of cries.
I remember that day so clearly, so vivid, so well,
It was the day my mum suprised me, the day that she would tell,
You were mine to keep, to hold and to love,
And nothing would ever break us, and that clearly was enough.
I was only ten when you were born but i remember you so well,
If i had of known your life would be short, i would have saved you from this hell.
Im sorry i left you, even though it was with mum,
They say that there is people you can trust in this world, but i say there is none.
Family or not its broken my heart in way more ways then one,
She was only eight mother, there is so much you could have done!
For now i must take your death, and put it behind my tears,
I know who it was and they wont last all there years,
Already illness grips them and i cant seem to sympathise,
I turn my head and walk away, knowing that in his bed he cries,
he hurt me at first and now hes gone and hurt her
how can he expect me ignore, and not call him a murderer?
I lay here on my bed looking at you when you were a pup,
You were so cute and fluffy, im sorry if i was ever rough,
You were the best in the world and ill always remember your name,
it will be there always, stored away in the depts of my brain,
Along with all the memories, yes the good and the bad,
with all the times i was happy and all the times i was mad.
Now i must say goodbye, for i know it time to go,
Let things keep going as they should and always love you so.

DEDICATED TO THE RECENT DEPARTURE OF MY BELOVED CHILDHOOD TOY POODLE MUFFIN WHO WAS BRUTALLY MURDED BY MY MOTHERS PARTNER WHILE THEY WERE LOOKING AFTER HER FOR ME.........Rip muffin,1999-2007. Born in Tamworth, NSW at 5.23am...i will always remember you.
