I wonder why I am so happy now
Earlier in the day
I was lamenting my own uselessness
Now it does not seem to matter
Perhaps because I wrote a poem about it
That helped
But it's not that alone
Talking to my wife
Helped
Walking in the sudden sun
After morning cold and dark and damp
That helped
Davvaning minchah
That helped
Just being out in the world
That helped
But why why
When all the real problems of my life
Are the same
And I have good reasons to worry
I don't know why
I became so happy
Just to be.
