I Wrote A Happy Poem Once

It was many years ago
It was about Love
It was a poem that lasted
For a long time
Thirteen years
Then it stopped being a poem
And stopped being happy
But I'll never forget that poem
It was so happy
I loved that poem
I loved it very much
It was a long time ago
But I'll never forget it

I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
