Icy Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Icy

Rating: 5.0

Icy fingers are grabbing at my chest,
ripping at my heart,
Yet fire rages inside.
But I just sit there
screaming.
Take it! I don't want it anymore!
Then the fire ends
and there's an emptiness inside.
I'm too numb to cry
but it hurts too much
to say I don't care.
Mommy, I see something in the dark.
Shit,
I'm the thing in the dark.
The shadow of a shadow
and Death
is the thing I hold closest.
For I will not feel
the sweet embrace of peace
until Death holds me
in his icy arms.
With my head
to his silent chest
and his arms
wrapped around me
for always and forever
in the world's longest eternity.
Then, and only then
will I feel this word you call
peace.
