If I Poem by Emma Jane Rae

If I could turn back the clock,
and be back to me,
i would be happy as you will see,
i'd be back to my usual bundle of laughs,
instead of this mess of emotional scars!
the wounds may have healed,
but it's something inside,
caused by everyones pointless lies,
i wana be the cheerful girl,
who always shines just like a pearl,
i'm so tired but i cant ever sleep,
let me turn back time,
to just take a peek,
to the person that i once was,
i dont wana be the person i am,
why does no-one give a damn?
i just wana cry and hide away,
and hopefully i'll feel better someday!
