If I Could Remember You Poem by Alexzia Ferdinand

If I Could Remember You

Rating: 5.0

If I could remember you in the frame of day

You’d be twilight;

The sleepy state before black, all pastel embraces

And orangey explosions

If I could remember your eyes in a space of time

They’d be moon and sun intertwined;

Piercing and caressing

What’s unseen

If I could recall your love as a time of day

It’d be the midnight holding place;

The inbetween, peace of ethereal proportions

If I could remember us, together, in this time frame,

We would be eternal
