If It Has To Be Mentioned And Not Lived Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

If It Has To Be Mentioned And Not Lived

If I did not have my own dreams to fulfill,
I would be envious each time...
You came to compare your life to mine,
With announcements of your happiness.
And I wonder how much happiness one can have,
If it has to be mentioned and not lived...
Without a provoking done for others to notice.
