If It Is Dead Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

If It Is Dead

A gun shot
Inside of my mind, penetrated
My heart

My eyes look at strait
Familiar Smile
Disappearedwithering

Words turned to artificial
I am the body moves
A shadow of death

From mine you ask
Love
Trust
Kindness

All I have you expect, yet dried up
Paradoxicalmeaning
My soul struggles
To resettle
