If Poets Dream

If Poets were Politicians,
Everything that's good would rhyme,
And the Beauty that this world is,
Would not cost a single dime.

I'm an idealist too. not in those words, but I've thought this idea thru.
and all I can guess is that takers take, and that's it. to many, rich or
poor, giving is a sign of weakness. taking, conquering, winning,
is all that matters. take care, Lyn (Report) Reply

    Since the beginning of time,
    Politicians could not rime,
Lie, control and squeeze the mind
Nothing else from them you'll find.
Thank yo'all for your kind comments (Report) Reply
