The one thing that makes me proud
Is my Ignorance, That I don't need to fake;
The more I read, the more I learn
makes me certain, That no one can take.
I tried to know all and then some more,
My doubts increased from one to four;
Could not get as much Confidence
from Knowledge, as I could from Ignorance.
inspired by ol' socs....(Socrates.. :) ...) ....i guess beautifully conceived and penned.. cheers mate :)
If we think that we are knowledgeable then that is the end of learning: (but if one thinks that he is an ignorant and truly wants to know, it will surely serve as a virtue. Nice poem.

Shahzia - I completely agree with what Machiavel says and my endevour in life is rid myself of Ignorance. But every time i try to learn something new (for instance recently I have started studying Paleography and Archaeoastronomy) I can feel my Ignorance and this motivates me to read and study more. If Ignorance acts as a motivation then it is a virtue - at least for me. Hope I am making some sense.
