Immortal Lives On The Battle Field Poem by Navod Jayasuriya

Immortal Lives On The Battle Field

Rating: 4.7

It was commenced long long ago,
it straddled many years ago,
it judged immeasurable number of lives,
of many soldiers, of poor fellow men,
it gave the reckoning, long long ago.

Armored crafts of every kind,
fluttered there in sky,
like the ravenous eagles,
they searched for very side.

Armored soldiers from every side,
with spears, swords and some with guns,
and a little of cavalry,
wandered from every side,
and garnered to one side.

It made the world wonder,
it made the world dismay,
and that it was the last reckoning,
that judged the lives of men.

They all were ready,
the noble gallant band,
and they were dogged with one,
but they all lost with none.
Sacrificing their lives,
they did die for nothing.
honorable gallant band!

'Ready for the battle',
one burst out,
the signal gave out,
the callous commanders,
judged the lives of men,
gave the ultimate reckoning.
Led the valorous band,
into the dale of death.

All in the dale of death,
this made all gasp,
filled with hideous fear,
that lasts forever.
Led the noble valorous band,
into the line of death.

Thunderclaps in deep sonorous,
thunderbolts in every hand,
they advanced to the dale of death,
and to the line of death,
and kept skirmishing against antagonists.
Their determination still on hands of them.
honorable chivalrous soldiers!

Befall of thumping thunderstorms,
befall of thunderous thunderclouds,
but the tenacious gallant team,
rode themselves,
into the dale of death,
into the line of death,
honorable tenacious soldiers!

Dastardly satans,
furious demons,
humans like monsters,
killed everyone,
devastated the soldiers,
ravaged everything.

They were comported in tomfoolery,
that none could show mercy,
on the poor fellow soldiers,
who were adjured to stand against.
Their lives wasted apace,
and died for nothing!

Two, three minutes to start,
filled with fear, everyone,
after the commencement,
two, three minutes passed,
whole surrounding,
made everyone bewilder.
honorable gallant band!
sacrificing their lives,
they did die for nothing.

Whole surrounding,
is a massive stream of blood,
filled with souls of men,
seemed to be a red colored cloth,
that overlaid the wondrous nature.
And when the battle was ceased to be,
hundreds of deceased men were buried to be

Not a matter to laugh,
but a matter to dismay,
They did a great task,
dear friends,
a mammoth task!

This happened long long ago,
this ceased many years ago,
time immemorial,
they exist in our hearts.

Revere the honorable gallant band!
noble valorous team band!
