In My Deathbed
I sit and bask in solitude
And kiss the stars awake
And wave the sun away
This moment
I know love
I give love
This moment is forever
The tears of foolishness
In my cheeks from my eyes
The foolishness was mine
And mine alone
And hurt him all the more
His tears of pain
Silver and vibrant on his cheeks
As I lay in my deathbed
And my vision blurs
I whisper to my lover
