In Silence
i wish i had your heart
i wish i could see what you see
amidst your serenity
i float back in my own dreams
dragged by the slow waves
a movement with no sails
here's to the mountains gone flat
here's to the waterfalls gone dry
here's to the snowstorms gone still
icicle star-crossed eyes
here's to the twisting roads gone nowhere
here's to the journey that ended
to where it all started.
quiet.
empty.
