In Sleep
In the silver stars of evening, I see your shining tears,
in the summer breeze, i hear your lonely sighs,
In the softly falling rain, I feel your touch upon my skin,
in sleep i feel your kiss upon my eyes......
love this 'little' poem Laurie....' in sleep i feel your kiss upon my eyes'...... that last line was exquisite! .....no more nightmares, only sweet dreams....yes, as Patti says, it's a lullabye (and not only for a child) .....
I think this is so quietly beautiful. Thanks, it's my favorite new lullaby..(smile)

Sighs, tears, skin and eyes are all sumptuous rhymes. The kiss of the eyes is the perfect touch for a romantic night in. Just beautiful (sigh!) 10 love Karin
