In the Cupboard of my mind
In the cupboard of my mind
Many curious things you'd find
For different selves, a different mask
Strategies for every task
There's a meditation bell
Echoes from an ocean shell
There are images of light
Visions of a lark in flight
There's the horror of a doll
Frightened me when I was small
There are keys for many doors
Flickering sights from foreign shores
There's the ticking of a clock
There's my feelings, under lock
Books for my imagination
Music, too, for inspiration
If a drill-hole you should make
Through the skull to my mind-scape
In the core, above, below
Bens emerge and rivers flow
In the cupboard of every person's mind, I'm sure you would find many curious things.

I would like to translate this poem
I had to look up the word 'ben'. A Scottish word meaning a high mountain or mountain peak. Thanks for teaching me a new word.
