Do not love for the pretty face
Because in time that beauty's erased.
Neither love for wealth or money
These treasures are fickle security.
Do not love for fame or possessions
They're mere trappings of nice deceptions.
Many a union failed with the outcome
When masks are removed, it turns off some.
Love for the reason that you are giving
Yourself to another for mutual sharing.
For Love thrives in giving, not in the 'taking'
Anchored on this, it will be lasting.
