In the sands of time I write my name.
I the sands of time I write my anguish-
In the sands of time my footsteps mark out a timeline
Of love and anguish,
Of passions that ran high,
Of times of sublime silence
When only the waves lapping
On the sands of time were heard
In the sands of time are written my poems and my dreams.
