In This Moment Poem by Samantha Boatwood

We all feel lost at one time or another,
So I write this for me and all who suffer this sickenss.
Depression is a beast that lurks in the night
An evil shadow hiding in the corner ready to strike!

I feel numb, I have nothing to share
Nothing to give, I'm naked stripped bare
I can't hide my sadness, any longer
Or wish it away, or keep it to my self for another day.
It's gone to far, I've been carried away.

Carried into the darkness,
I'm down on my knees,
Lost in my mind craziness has set in,
Where have I gone, I don't recognize me
I can't find myself I can not breathe
I'm slowly fading, vanishing from sight
Soon I could be gone but I won't give up the fight

See we all have our demons to fight
Whether they are hidden or in plain sight
Life is so hard, we should reach out and be kinder,
Make someone's life just a little bit brighter.
