In Tokyo Streets Poem by Nilufer Dursun

In Tokyo Streets

Memories which left behind you become large in Tokyo streets,

I’m running towards you at every step along the street,

You’re at every place, a foot print from you at everything,

I can’t bear down on your absence.

If only a wind had blown brought me to you,

As twining plants we might have embraced soul in soul,

My heart might have touched in your heart,

If only we had written our love on the streets of Tokyo.

Me, I love you deeply,

You, fall in love with me fancy,

At every step your absence echos,

In Tokyo streets.
