In Your Heart

All alone with no one to comfort you,
Friends all gone - No family to run to...
That special day you marked in you calender,
Was your birthday that you wished would last forever...

Everyone was there -
Friends, enemies, frienemies and family too,
Cheer, jeer, less fear and
Glows were shown,
When you were turning twenty two -
School mates, school teachers, even the uninvited schools,
All these did gather to celebrate your special day...

Irresponsible drinking
Parents not thinking,
wasted - too wasted, no-one in a condition of driving.
Free booze
Your place full
Sleep-time soon
Siblings somewhere in the neighbourhood...
Temperature cool, swift steps, loud voices and unbalanced moves -
``Tomorrow was to worry of himself`` that phrase was true,
More and more booze now - later will follow food,
It was a special day for you...

Your father grabbed the keys on the twelfth hour,
No balance, blurry vision, went for his car,
They were supposed to have left in the ninth hour,
You told them they would leave because they didnt leave far,
``Stay for three more hours``
Your dad didnt want to but Ma...
Ma now sleepy on a stool,
Pa already in the car,
Woke Ma with a hooter - car ready for the route...

Last good-bye waves,
Blown kisses -
As the car started to leave the pave,
That was the last you had had seen you Pa`s face...
They were too drunk to be driving,
And you knew that too.
Two hours is all it took,
A car appeared in a distance in full speed,
From a party - the driver was drunk too...
SCREAMS, SCREEAMS AND MORE SCREEEAMS,
Like i said two hours its all it took,
Those who sleep when drunk aint no fools -
That tragic accident chose your father,
Your mother is now wearing all black,
And you are in a mental constitution,
Ofcourse you are not to blame for what happened back then,
Ma cries day and night,
Your special day just turned a day of regret...

I dont know if you can hear me since you are trapped in our ow mind my friend,
Always put your hand on your heart,
That s were you will find your dad,
And i will always be here for you through good and bad

Poem of the Day

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
