A country known for its culture is India,
Search and you can find it in any encyclopedia,
History will say a lot about our country’s past,
Despite many differences we are a united cast,
Almost all people here have great talent and prudence,
Thanks to the great folks, we have got our independence;
Today is a great day for the recollection
In the form of Independence Day celebration;
We have come to the sixty eighth year,
So let us give ear, and let all the conflicts tear,
We know all of us are interdependent in our nation, hence
We can come together to celebrate our independence.
