Inside Me Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Inside Me

Rating: 4.8

You look my way and I smile
You turn away and I cry
You see me looking as if I live
When all I do is die
You see me laugh with friends
But inside all I do is scream
You see me doing what I want
But I am not close to being free
This person that you know
Is not the real me
This person that you know
Is merely fantasy
The real me is slowly dying
From emotions in a cage
You will never know her
Outside of the words on this page
No one can ever see her
She would be rejected right away
No one wants a broken girl
So inside she'll stay
