I heard about your illness
It killed me
Inside out
We were no longer
That piece together
Yet I felt Such a loss
Inside Out
I needed to Speak with you
To tell you
That I cared
Forgetting about the anger
For it just
No longer flared
I will never
Forget that love
I am broken
With the fear
The pain
You are in
We were one
For such a long time
Creating gifts
That speak beauty
With in
You never answered.

Very compelling piece- -and one that warns against holding grudges- I winder why she never answered- -too much pain- - too many doctor appointments- -too much pain- -too doped up to combat the pain- - or didn't want to mend fences and restore good memories, Very intense and expressive piece. 10++++++
Aw such a saddening poem showing your golden forgiving heart for someone in pain with a shared past time of love with you. You express in muse in a moving superb somber way. Kudos and take care. Pls pleez do review/ comment my newest poem too, titled, 'bullfighters: the bull bullies'
Lyn this is worthy. When you feel so much you should talk don't wait for answer just say who knows they must be waiting for you. Touching composition.
Divorce and illness, both are a pain. 'We were no longer That piece together Yet I felt Such a loss Inside Out' - touched me!
Heartfelt poem that to me came from a person with a beautiful, honest, kindest, selfless heart. You forget the pain just because the love of past healed you when you know that he is in pain. Forgetting the self pain to feel someone pain remark yourself as a loving person Lyn, and i know you always been a great friend and person to all. Hope all is fine there.
A heartfelt lyrical poem! A sincere heart which found the right words to express itself!

Reaching out to someone who has been a part of one's life is sometimes hard to do. Yet, care and kindness fuel us to know what is going on with their life especially upon knowledge of illness. A touching poem well crafted and conveyed.
