Over decades gone,
To have them pass.
Millions have died,
From:
Domestic violence.
Injustices inflicted.
Disparities.
Racial ignorance.
Mental and physical illnesses.
Including the flu.
Expected with it awaited.
By folks ready to be innoculated.

But this...
Covid-19 virus.
Comes with a change and difference made.
For the first time,
In decades to come never done before...
People are enforced to think.
Use common sense.
Listen and pay attention.
Respect others with a kept 'social distance'.

Causing many to protest,
As if their entitled lives to live...
Have been placed under house arrest.
Suspected of spreading,
Intelligence to commit.
And this done to do...
Has left many upset to perceive,
Themselves purposely accused...
Of something on their own,
They would never do to choose!
