Is True-Friend Real? Poem by Ellen Mendez

Is True-Friend Real?

As we take our everyday life
We meet new faces in every corner of life
We meet a relief,
We meet a joyful borrower

They're the one that give's gist
In every meaningful moment come
Happiness they give, we cannot list,
But in heart it stays and never be gone

Happy is thy life of having them,
In sorrow's and pains they're there
Happiness, sadness, they are there
Any time they're everywhere

But we can't deny the life's nature
For He is mighty; we're nothing
They left, they come, anytime in future
That you can gain, or loose something

But why it's like this?
Is life is really like this?
At one blink everything might gone?
Relationship end up and done?

Relationship that lost it's color,
Fighting even just a mumble thing
Isn't that a friend will adjust it's own behavior?
Ready for acceptance of everything?

A relationship that say's it'll never be end;
Will last forever even in death
Memories of them I wanted to ascend
For this unfulfilled promised' I can't breath

Are we friends?
Or we're just somebody?
Is true-friend real?
Or it's just a merely thought of somebody?
