It's My Fault Poem by Emily Jane McMahon

It's My Fault

I thought you had changed,
I thought I had my dad back.
I see the truth now,
It's my fault for believing you.

For all the pain you caused,
For all the hurt you caused.
You got away with it,
So it's my fault for going near you.

It was always ok for you to be angry,
It was always ok for you to test people.
To see if they are loyal,
but it's my fault for trusting you.

You still manage to hurt me,
Even though I am no where near you.
But now I know everything,
It's my fault.
