It's Starting Again Poem by Jessica Stubbs

It's Starting Again

Rating: 4.0

It's starting again
Thought I'd get better
But,
It's starting again
Apathy larger than
The strength I need to begin
Heavy clouds
Blocking out the sun
The storm starts faster than I can run
But I like the rain
Always have
Maybe part of me wants it to come back

It's always easier to stay where you are, making excuses for doing it, yet knowing within it will not take you where you want to go. Very poignant and truthful poem, touches the heart with an apprehensive sadness. Thank you for sharing, RoseAnn
