It'll Be Delicious Don't You Worry Poem by Mark Heathcote

It'll Be Delicious Don't You Worry

You've honestly no need for a reservation.
I'm cooking cauliflower and lentil curry
Oh and it'll be delicious don't you worry
Darling, sit, and I'll serve your great expectation.
With my long wooden ladle: I feel like Merlin
The magician in the kitchen waving my wand
Cooking salmon risotto's high in protein,
Rustling up dishes while devouring a croissant;
I'm not talking emptied jars of pickle gherkin.
Here I'm cooking herb and garlic pork be warned
Hot spice it's my love so forget the restaurant.
Because I'm going to cook for you dear tonight
I'm cooking you rice and pea's darling if you please
I'm cooking chicken skewers you can expedite.
It'll taste of my heart and soul a bit naïve-
I know, but it'll be seasoned for you just so
I'm cooking sesame tuna steaks, just you, see.
Oh darling-just-stay and banquet with me, whoa
