Jamie's Struggle Poem by Randy McClave

Jamie's Struggle

Unto the retail workers you should give respect
Them they shouldn't be henpecked,
They are always doing or trying their very best
And many irritate them like a bothersome pest.
If you have a problem they will happily fix it
But, many just want to argue and and scream and have a fit,
And many times a worker they want to assault
Even when it was theirs, and not the workers fault.
Drinks are literally dumped or thrown back at the server
In both hate and also feverish fervor,
Then they begin to curse and cry and huff and puff
Just because their drinks are not sweet enough.
The workers always greet with a compliment and a smile
They instead are greeted with insults and vile
They do their very best to make your visit happy
But, instead they are treated crappy.
There are customers who get angry and upset
Because they changed their orders not telling anyone yet,
It is so sad for the workers at a restaurant or at a store
When people don't have respect, for anyone anymore.
