Jesus Face To Face Poem by Hebert Logerie

Jesus Face To Face

It is well known and published
That Jesus walked on water
Nobody will be astonished
But few will question this matter.

What would you do if you come
Face to face with Jesus? A dome
Will be filled up with parishioners?
I doubt that. Most of us will become deserters.

I wonder about that because of the way
That Pope Francis was received in this country
I love the Pope. Remember that he is a clergy
A humble Priest, a brother who wants us to pray.

To pray for him, to pray for us and for peace
Let’s love him, by giving him justice
And not treat him like he is God or Jesus
Because Our God is Great, and very jealous.

I love Pope Francis like a brother
Not like someone to worship
He is not our God, Jesus or a Savior
Like you and I, he is waiting to board the ship.

Maybe the plane which will take us to Paradise
As we can see, the popemobile has no wings to fly
Next time when you see the Pope, wisely rise
And wave, as you would do for a brother or an ally.
