Journey Mercy

When thou face the future seated, fearing
Keep the words of promise on thy lips, faring;
None could tell where the journey might end
A life could end veering off one bend,
Be it the soul, the fairest or dearest
That which changes Him, I find the rarest,
Take a moment; beseech Him take the wheel
If thou will have Him wind thy life onto His reel;
Plead Him journey mercy; He is near to answer
On the road of destiny, if thou will conquer.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I was involved in a car accident yesterday (4th August 2013) . But thank God I came out unscathed. It is by the grace of God that I am alive. I thank Him for that mercy to journey and LIVE.

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
