Just A Day Poem by Dan Brown

Just A Day

It is not what you think it is -
it is not any of those things.
It isn’t memories or love
or dreams of engagement rings.

It isn’t something that we share -
it’s not something ‘ours’ any more.
It’s not the thing that made ‘us’ us,
or the thing that we waited for.

It doesn’t matter what you say -
that day, to me, is just a day.

Negating every thing means aiming at something.i think you have already got it. Making it simple by using 'just' is no way to escape stress
