Take these wrists
Kiss these scars
Look at my lips
Venus and Mars

Say you love me,
I’ve heard those drunken words before,
These tears confuse me,
Take another shot and look that door.

I need you but,
I can say those words yet,
I hope you understand,
I don’t want to leave behind an unmentionable debt.

You can’t see who I am,
So how can you love me?
I can’t hope you’ll give a damn
Do you truly love me?
Well then take this bottle
And take the razor
And lock me in a room
And call me tomorrow.
I’m just a dead girl,
That’s still breathing.
