Just Before Christmas
The children look forward, as do I...
For them the layers of white draw out joy and
not bound by reserve their emotions spill out
When they first notice it you might think
they have never seen anything like it before.
But of course they have many times this year.
The white invites them, a call to play, to jump, to shout
The perfect white comforts, eases my plight, and lets me know
that tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow
...will be all right.
I had to read it several times to find it. Sometimes finding those details an be a problem!
Pity the citizens of China, with THEIR Industrial Revolution AND their 'black snow'! While back in North America: .......................................................................... After Christmas! You enjoyed watching AS the kids' emotions took spills, but i wonder how you'll handle getting.......... ..........the holiday bills! i grew up with snowy winters and had more than my share of fun with it, BUT i never knew how calming it an be! is it really? ? good. bri :)
An industrial Christmas, O my! Well, when the kids are out of the house, buried in the snow....it does get calm for the adults...Well, you've started me on looking forward to Christmas.

Christmas is coming closer and reading such a nice poem we get courage and happiness. Children on this occasion think and plan for many things.
