Just Friends
You didn't want to lose me
though you know you have.
My heart will not be deceived.
We've shared so much
a lifetime of memories,
hardships and dreams.
And here we are, being just friends
not that you wouldn't want to
mesmerize me back again,
but my heart has seen the light
it has learn to distinguish
a true diamond from glass.
