In this fresh river water
Just I have bathed at dawn
To adore in my pure mind
I have bathed in holy water.
I have bathed in your love
Oh dear super darling star
You glow with eternal light
In this light I have adored.
So fresh wind being a soap
Has washed away dusts around
Emotion being oil has shown
Smoothness I have got in joy.
I have bathed in your truth
In infinite wisdom I have
I have bathed my whole birth
Death too blooms like rose.
You are clever dear father
You have made me bath in
Your eternal love is lovely
Just I have bathed in purity.
I have bathed in your love.../ in truth / in purity... lovely expressions. We always take care in bathing/cleaning the body. But what about the mind and inner being? This poem brings in lovely insight on this.
Mind and body are washed off all dirt and the soul is bathed in God's overwhelming love! The act of purifying is beautifully compared to a bath in the clean waters of a river! Lovely write! A 10
In every religion there are certain acts that leave a psychological effect on our thinking. Hindus take bath in the Ganges, Muslims kiss Hajare Aswad, and it works. They regret their sins and a determination with will power they get in return, to remain away from the sins, in future. A great write.
