Just In Case Poem by Steven Rodgers

Just In Case

Should the day go by,
Should I not say,
How I feel about you,
In every single way,
Should by happenstance,
I do not get the chance,
To tell how your smile sets fire to my soul,
To tell of your eyes, piercing through the gray,
To tell of my heartache when I cannot stay,
Be you my love, by your side forever,
Should misfortune rule my day,
If God should call me to his side,
I must of his command abide,
Though,
I'll tell you my love, here and now,
I love you utterly, completely,
I will always think of you sweetly.
