Just Not Into Me Poem by Asma Khan

Just Not Into Me

Surprised am I not from you
but nature has many colors
a few seen
the rest is just a blanket of unseen clouds

Forgo me not, for I am no more
but life has to be lived wearing
a few moments
the rest is just in days and numbers

Hurt am I not from the wounds of infidelity
but the evergreen scars remind me of
a few delicate memories
the rest is just pains under my pillow

Bring me not the hopes to see more
but shut my eyelids down for
a few passing visions of past
the rest will just suffice the hunger for present loss

Watch me not leaving for you won't keep my heart
but bid me farewells for
a few good times spent together
the rest will just remain in the book of memories
