Just Mine Poem by Asma Khan

Just Mine

Perhaps I may not fall in love again
because you're still mine.

May be the spring would bring new colours
but you will always wear mine.

I know you felt the pain just like me
but the loss is equally mine.

Thank you for choosing my heart
because I chose you and you chose mine.

You cried when we parted
but those tears in your eyes were mine.

I smiled on your forgetfulness
because the name you missed was mine.

I cheered your sorrows with laughter
as if the pains were not yours but mine.

You showed me the love I had for you
but the reason were all mine.

May be your dreams would have come true
but the prayers for you were only mine.

You would not find me next to you again
but leaving you was't the decision of mine.

Possibly I may not stand you with someone else
remembering you were once mine.

You broke me badly to death
what still loves you is not me but the heart of mine.
