Justifying Loneliness In A Song Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Justifying Loneliness In A Song

Listening to the heartache and pain of a mistaken love in melodies
of an aging song that can still touch the hidden tears within each
of us.

Such a solemn and gentle rhythm being sung in depths of sorrow and
sadness, being played by a band, all together justifying loneliness
that's being heard, touching everyone with its wonder.

Tears falling through notes in song, intensely taking this mere
poet into feelings of this tragedy that we really know nothing
about, yet it resonates within us, capturing our hearts just the
same.
