Wee black pup
jumping up
wagging tail
like a flail,
till I met you
I never knew
anyone be
so pleased to see me!
A man's best friend - what more could one ask for. Delicious little poem which says so much. Love Ernestine XXX
So much said, so easily with my ears prickling and nose smelling the sweet truth of reality -
I've never had a pet, but it's always good to have someone so pleased to see you, whether it be a dog or a man.
well done pete that's why they call Dogs man's best friend i wonder what took you so long to realize it...lol great poem **KoNi**
This is fantastic Peter. A wonderful piece that remind me of Bunting. This is so skillfully managed and plays so well. I read this a couple of times and I love the way in which you have drawn out the perfect words. People think that poetry such as this write themselves, but they can be painstaking difficult. It is not that a few word come to mind and they are jotted down. It take ages to find the correct sounds (not words) that will give birth to a piece such as this. I am in awe my friend truely in awe.
