I've never had a pet, but it's always good to have someone so pleased to see you, whether it be a dog or a man.

This is fantastic Peter. A wonderful piece that remind me of Bunting. This is so skillfully managed and plays so well. I read this a couple of times and I love the way in which you have drawn out the perfect words. People think that poetry such as this write themselves, but they can be painstaking difficult. It is not that a few word come to mind and they are jotted down. It take ages to find the correct sounds (not words) that will give birth to a piece such as this. I am in awe my friend truely in awe.
