Knowing It To Be The Best

The hour of any day,
To witness and accept...
Is the first hour of that day,
To come with a knowing it to be the best.
With a yesterday done and completed.
Feeling blessed to start another one,
To greet and meet when at dawn.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
