Knowledge Poem by Edwina Reizer

Knowledge

I've never had a chauffer
drive me anywhere.
I've never had a maid
to iron what I wear.
I've never had a castle
to be the place I live.
I've never had much money
to spend or to give.
But what I've had all my life
is more than all these things.
I've had a quest for knowledge
and the peacefulness it brings.
