Soudain autour du cap apparait la mer,
Et le soleil donna sur le bord de la montagne:
Et droit etait un sentier dore pour lui,
Et le besoin d'un monde des hommes pour moi.

Appearance of the cap in sea is noticed suddenly and morning view was noticed with great pleasure. And the sun set on the edge of the mountain looks alike as at morning. A great imagery is drawn in this poem and you have beautifully and perfectly translated this....10

Nice to read French. My friend Robert Smith recommended you. A good translation of Browning's poem. Willread more soon. I do the odd French poem, mainly silly ones about my cat! and the odd translation into english of Valery, Perse, Bonnefoy etc.
