Labor Of Love - Poem by Dorsey Baker

You give and you give, whatever
it takes, a chain thats strong
is a chain that never breaks,
a labor of love, a labor of love,
despite the hurt, you don't mind
the work-

You've got to be strong, though
your arms are weary,
you still carry on-a labor of
love, a labor of love, despite
the hurt, you don't mind the work-

No shelter in the pouring rain,
still you don't complain, a labor
of love, a labor of love, despite
the hurt, you don't mind the work-
