Last Breath Poem by Randy McClave

Last Breath

Every person that you know
Will eventually have a last day with you,
Maybe at your home or at a show
Or maybe even on yahoo.
When that last breath is finally drawn
Only one thing will only and truly matter,
It's not knowing this is the last dawn
But, knowing there truly is a hereafter.
Remember before your hate
Or even before you lie or cheat or sin,
Don't seal your own fate
Remember that person, someday you won't see again.
There will always of course be death
Even for the wealthy and the fit,
Remember when they or you draw the last breath
You or they will not never, ever know it.
