Last Farewell
My heart is broken
Soul in anguish
Time has stopped cruel and hard
With your passing
And for my remaining days
There is no repeal from ravages of grief.
Your laughter heard no more
Nor beauty to beguile me
Now alone and tormented
No light within the darkness
I drown in an ocean of despair
Grieving and thinking only of you.
Colin! I am deeply saddened by the sentiments expressed through this poignant poem. Though, there are no notes from the poet's side, one can understand the anguish behind this 'Last Farewell'.
