Leaving The Lake Poem by Dorsey Baker

Leaving The Lake

Rating: 5.0

Ducks quack as they
Swim about the lake
They come to feed
Then they
Go for another ride
Across the big wide lake
Then suddenly
A splash
In the water comes loud
To your ear
They take off
All together
All at once!
Leaving the lake
They fly away
You watch the sky
As they are going
